Beijing +15: Working Together for Equality

Around the world women face discrimination in access to rights and opportunities across all spheres of their lives. Women’s groups from Australia and around the World have successfully participated in bringing their issues to the United Nations through the Beijing process and reviewing how governments have measured up to their commitments to women. The Beijing Conference: The 4th World Conference on Women: Action for Equality, Development and Peace (1995); The United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women was held in Beijing, China in September, 1995.
